The Austrian National Conference on the Design of Integrated Circuits and Systems

The traditional annual meeting "Austrochip" is a platform to present the latest activities in the field of integrated circuits and systems
in Austria and its neighboring countries. Furthermore, it understands itself as a forum for discussion and contact between academia and industry
and will this year be held for the 14th time.
The program of the Austrochip 2006 conference is made up of invited talks, presentations of received contributions as well as a panel
discussion with distinguished speakers from academia, industry and the Austrian government. This year's panel discussion will deal with the
topic of public funds in the area of microelectronics. For the first time, the Austrochip is held in parallel to both the Austrian conference
Informationstagung Mikroelektronik (ME) as well as to the Viennese industrial fair
vienna-tec.
The Austrochip conference is organized by the academic institutions shown below with traditional support from
companies located in Austria, working in the field of microelectronics:

This year's Austrochip conference is co-chaired by the Department of Embedded Systems, University of Applied Sciences Technikum Wien.
